Gaza demonstration.

In our country the largest demonstration we have ever had is currently taking place.
It is a demonstration against Israel committing a genocidal act in Gaza.

This genocidal act is now being recognized by more and more organizations in the world.
Most Dutch people are strongly against what Israel is doing.

The relationship between Israel and the Netherlands has always been excellent, but Israel has lost all its support in our country.
The government officially spoke out for Israel at the beginning of the conflict, but that was only accepted by a few population groups.

Now the government is also beginning to speak out under enormous pressure from the population.
Not surprising, because who wants to be on the wrong side of history.
Seeds more countries see this. It is high time that the world intervenes.

For various reasons I will give a few:

We were occupied by the Germans in the 2nd World War and that is in our collective consciousness.

Because the Netherlands do not have rich Jewish families who govern the country and have conditioned the population with their media channels.

Our secret service also has no close ties with the Mossad.

We were well informed at school about the history in the Middle East.

The Netherlands is a relatively civilized country without too many extremes and the level of education is high here.

We are a very small country and have many international contacts and citizens are very well informed about everything that happens in the world. We travel a lot through all the countries of the world and we see through propaganda very quickly because we have a solid view of world history.

In our country we do not push each other into a box you can have all kinds of opinions here without getting a sticker stuck on you as left or right liberal or capitalist. We are freethinkers and speakers and decide for ourselves what we think and say without any social or societal
repercussions.

Do you want more?

The Dutch population has been concerned about the fate of the Palestinians for many years. That is because we have been closely involved with Israel and therefore have our eyes on that region. What Israel is doing now is beyond all proportion. We are in favor of the right to self-defense. In that respect, our domestic laws give much more freedom there than the American ones. But with us it is so that it must be proportional. It is a form of respect.

And what is happening in Israel is far from proportional. We see the news from both parties every day and it does not look pretty.
It is genocide in its purest form, and we are far from ok with that.

The largest demonstration is taking place in your country because you are safe, prosperous, (you’re welcome) and with all the extra time on your hands that prosperity brings, and you gotta do something. The word genocide has a certain ring to it, so you figure “what the heck, let’s protest that…”

Survival means that you have no space to rebel, that's right. That's why poverty is also a bad thing. There is something to be said about the prosperity here, it is a reasonably safe country here and we have good social conditions compared to America, but there are many people living here who can barely make ends meet. Our prosperity is because the government is rich. We pay a lot of taxes, but the population is getting poorer.

But also a reason that we protest is that everyone knows someone who has direct or indirect contact with people from the Middle East.

For example, I have neighbors who are Palestinians. And I know quite a few Moroccans and Egyptians. We hear at schools and at work and on the football field what is happening in the Middle East and see what effect it has on them.
We hear their point of view every day and it corresponds with how we experience it.
This demonstration is therefore a compelling call to our government to send a clearer message internationally. We no longer want to see Israel supported through thick and thin.

It also has to do with the war in Ukraine. We have taken in many people here. We are very aware of the threatening situation. And we want it to stop. It seems to us as if NATO wants a war with Russia.
That also does not resonate with what the population wants. But we now have a war economy and that means that NATO can exert extensive influence in our country.
It is this sum that makes people protest.

We are more than fed up with the seemingly holy politicians who are busy with self-interest and war strategies.

It's kind of like humans in the Netherlands asking why Black Lives Matter is such a big deal, causing riots etc.

Because of US history and the number of Black humans living in the US integrated with society at this time.  There are far more direct interactions with the Middle East and Palestinians in the Netherlands than in the average US community.

In the US, at one time, humans were judged/treated by the color of their skin.  The 60's started changing that to, a Humans judged on their actions.

In the early 80's, the UL, WOKE, FDS, DFI Socialists started giving things to some humans biased on how loud they cried, GIMME, and that changed things backwards.

Now the people that say, GIMME the loudest, get what they want.
And the actions of the Full Blown Socialists, allow humans, (many colors of skin) to have no responsibility of their actions.

In another Nation, a well known terrorist group killed about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and around 250 were taken hostage. With the blessing of the humans that allow those terrorists to live, and thrive in that Area.
