April report frome Sweden!

I have got my bike back from my local MC-shop, it runs nice!
This year I have done a few changes.. got that mecanical petcock you recomend and put on the original Suzuki exhauste system!
To the exhauste system.. it dosnt looks bad, it even dont sound bad!
Its sounds like a big thumper, but a bit restricted.. that fits my own preferenses a bit better!
I have got my carburater cleaned.. and even changed my "nålventil" WTF in english.. the f*cking thing that regulate the level in ones carburator!
Soo Im still in a April mode, done a few driving my bike in my neighborhood! Helmet and gloves, sweatpants and sandals!
Its this.. as a swede I dont get prepared that April can be such a great bike days.. befor we get a snow storm!
Soo.. its this.. im still hesitite to take the bike to my usual spring rides.. I still need to try out the new configuartion, with that mecanical petcock.. and the original exhauste!
And then.. with the new petcock and the old exhauste.. what can go wrong??
Everyting can go wrong on any bike, in any country!
And a lot of thanks to this forum.. I have learned a lot frome owners/mecanical experts/ordinary people on this site!

The "Float" in the carb bowl shuts the fuel on and off as the motor runs.

Glad you got it fixed.

I've only got one language and sometimes struggle with it !
So
I applaud you for having two !  Smiley

Thank you again for having this forum!
We do mandatory start learn "Brittish English" at grade 3-4.. its a franca lingua in Europe.. and in many places in the world!
About "Nålventil".. "Nål" is needle and "ventil" is valve in this case, so needle valve! Bought a renovation kit with valve, gasket and o-rings and its seat! Soo the only moving parts in the carburator thats not changed is "flottören".. the floater! And in this late winter on a sunny day in Mars I took it out to start, it puked a lot of petrol on the ground.. I now think thats the floater that got stuck after staying idle for 6-8 months???
Soo this spring.. mecanical petcock and the original muffler!
When I did write exhauste I did ment muffler, "ljuddämpare" in swedish!
Witch can be translated to "sound/loud damper".. ie a muffler!
Yes its nice to be bilingual.. one benefit is that even if I dont know all the nouanses in another language I can still talk and write like a child and get understand! Like here in this forum!  Smiley
