How many times are you going to yell “the sky is falling tomorrow “ yet when tomorrow comes and goes, you simply pick up the next “news” story and start all over again as if the previous doomsday pronouncement never happened? Rinse and repeat.

I’m not even sure you’ve heard of the phrase Five Eyes until you saw a story about it.

To say they no longer look to America, as a leader of the free world is preposterous. If there were a major catastrophe to happen tomorrow in any one of those countries, we would be the first place they look.

Yes, you have TDS. You and your leftist comrades are completely incapable of evaluating anything objectively. Anything.

Trump is doing well. Perfect? Heck no. But we’ve stopped the ridiculousness that went on at the border for the last four years which will absolutely pay off in both the short term and long run. DOGE is putting a face on what we’ve all known, which is the fraud and waste at the federal level is beyond comprehension. The data center investments and commitments to build these in the USA is huge. Stopping the net zero nonsense and the cutting of our own throats to accommodate the Paris Accords another huge win. And he’s the only trying to actually stop the war instead of funding it forever.

Part of me wishes he’d just turn everything over to JD and go play golf the rest of his term. If he did, it would still be a successful Presidency.

I live in NZ and wasn't aware that the Five Eyes partners were "Reconsidering", our foreign minister is off to the US where he will apparently meet Marco Rubio, so the Five Eyes could be discussed. The Five Eyes partners tend to regard NZ as a potential weak link, because of our agricultural and tourism based economy and the fact that China is by far our biggest trading partner.
I do believe we have quite reasonable levels of free speech in my country, as indicated by large protests during government imposed covid lock downs, which rightly, wrongly or sideways did save a lot of lives. An enquiry is now going on to discuss the merits or otherwise of these lockdowns. The current government 3 way coalition was elected by as fair and reasonable democratic process as any other constitutional democracy anywhere else in the world. Some pacifist minded New Zealanders have always opposed Five Eyes and are quite free to do so.
