It would be a shame to use a serviceable head for this experiment. So I would like to buy one of those heads that have shot camshaft bearings, there should be many of those around. But, it seems you are not in the USA and shipping costs would probably be ridiculous.

Yes, Armen, it does.
And thanks for the picture, which clearly shows that there is a thick wall casting between intake port and the inlet valvespring seat.
Quite unlike on the exhaust side where same surfaces are disastrously close.
This modification will not make a big difference to the ceiling, the long turn of the port, but it will possibly bring a big improvement to the short turn. Hopes are high.

Not much you can do to straighten it out without breaking thru into the spring pocket. I had a few ideas, but they all involve a lot of tricky welding and machining.
