Once upon a time, no tariffs.  A USA company made a widget. They hired Citizens, Citizens paid their taxes,  the company, makers, sellers, distributors, secretaries, etc, all made a good living selling  the Widget.

Then came a company, overseas, that said they could make that widget, for a lot less, including shipping ! (Never Mind Quality)

Then the USA company,  Fired 1/2 of their employees, made a whole bunch of money, for a lot less work. (Again, forget quality)

Now along comes a Tariff. No longer is that widget cheep coming from overseas, so  that company starts making the widget again. The workforce grows, (AS WELL AS THE QUALITY).  And the price of the widget, goes down to the SAME or less, after the winding up of that company is over, and they no longer buy, (the poor quality widget).

BUT the UL, FDS, WOKE, DFI Socialists,
           STILL CRY !!!!!
