Went to Vintage Car Club of NZ'S National Motorcycle Rally. Couldn't use Jawa so had to take S40. Took a few photos of old thumpers which I may post later. Saw some classic bike racing and lots of very twisty roads.

I had one of these 52 years ago, now I have another. It's my dream come true.

The fiberglass panels were not a commercial success, most people threw them away, this one as can be seen still has them. I used to hate them too, but now I think they look cool, certainly unique.

This one is a 350cc Viper. It has a top speed of about 90 mph and should cruise all day at 60-70 mph. Both the 500cc Venom and the viper look identical, they share the same frame and the bottom end of the engine is the same.
