He might not survive this, hard to say. It’s possible the infrastructure that protects Democratic politicians is gonna pull back on this one because reality slapped them in the face. It’s easy to support leftist nonsense when they don’t have to face the actual consequences but a whole lot of middle, upper middle and upper class supporters just lost their homes.

Gavin’s appeal is that he can be the guy attacking Trump for the next four years but this debacle might not make that possible. If the calculation is made that he’s not the guy, they won’t protect him anymore and he’ll be treated like a regular Republican, and may have to leave office.

I’m not sure who’s up on the Democratic list after him. It can’t be that idiot, Adam Schiff, he’s about as appealing as Harris. I really don’t know who’s next up.  Pete Buttigieg maybe.
