Jimmy Carter. As a good southern Baptist boy, I cast my first presidential ballot for him.

Just watching some of the speeches and I was thinking during Kamala Harris’s turn , that’s why she cost me a bottle of Angel’s Envy. She can speak so well and present herself so professionally when she stays on topic.
I thought during her debate with Trump, after she got over her initial nervousness, she did OK.

I was also thinking that had she come out a couple of years ago talking like she did about Carter tonight and started saying things like it’s just not right to cut the breast off of young, healthy but confused girls, men and women are different and shouldn’t compete on the same field, and we’ve got to stop letting criminals from Mexico pour over the border……has she stepped away from Biden and taken those positions forcibly against the liberal democratic party, should would be President today.

I didn't watch the ceremony so I'll take your word that she gave a nice speech.

"She can speak so well and present herself so professionally when she stays on topic."

Even if that's true I doubt that it would have made much difference in the election.

I think she lost because enough people realized what a total reeking piece of garbage she is as a human being.

I agree, she’s not a particularly moral person, and she has an incredible quest for power like most narcissistic politicians.

Take a look at Pennsylvania senator John Fetterman . He’s being very logical now as he says, how can you be a member of the US Senate and vote against the Laken Riley act. You have to be subhuman to not support that.

If Harris had started a couple years ago moving away from Biden and taking positions of logic that most of the American public agree with, and didn’t have that stupid, ridiculous hackle, and kept herself closely managed, sure, I believe she could’ve won. However, the reality is, that’s not today’s Democratic Party. They’re so TDS infected, they would destroy their own children and society to beat Trump. You’re blind to reality. Look where that got them.

Well. if you're right, it's a good thing for this country that she was incapable of that.

A large part of the reason that our government is so f**ked up is that the majority  of the folks that we elect are masters of the very artifice that you are describing. The ability to say anything, anytime, convincingly, that they think might get them elected, regardless of whether they actually believe it, or have any intention of actually attempting to accomplish it.

Correct. Which is why you have to admire Trump. He is exactly who he appears to be. There’s nothing fake about him. He’s putting himself directly out there in front of you, and not hiding behind a silver tongue. Oh I’m sorry did I say that about Kamala Harris?…..
