I am currently in the worst eBay experience I have ever had.
I ordered 2 of the choke pieces that are supposed to work on a 2007 S40. I ordered on November 5th, and on the 6th the seller sent me a message asking me to confirm the fit and the shipping address....I responded immediately confirming both.
It took them 4 days to ship the item - I got tracking information.
I watched the package move through the USPS system and it appears it started at the Amazon location in Hebron, KY...20 miles from my house. It then proceeded to get farther and farther away - and finally was delivered on November 25th to a Post Office Box in Maynardsville, TN.....190 miles from my house. (It appears the seller is located in China and uses Amazon to sell and deliver things in the USA).
I contacted the seller and they blamed USPS for delivering it to the wrong place....however I would believe the seller put the wrong address on the package. They have still not shipped out a replacement - however they claim they are going to do so soon. I will wait until Friday December 6th to request a refund. I filed a complaint with eBay that the package was not received - and their helpful advice was to look around my porch and mailbox as the tracking showed that it was delivered (their initial inquiry did not see that the package was delivered to the wrong address). I can file for a more thorough eBay investigation after today.
The seller has a good reputation and claims that 22 of these were sold.....I wonder how many were delivered properly?
