Cutting aluminum,,

Anyone who has used a cut off disk on aluminum knows how nasty it is. And if clogs up the disk.. Watching a YouTube, Colt Builds It, he smeared a thin layer of grease on the disk. YaKnow, too much and it's getting Nasty, so,, think about it. It sliced through nicely and his shirt didn't look metallic. He had a silver streak on his hand, Mehhh..

That's an interesting way to avoid getting an aluminum cutting disk.

I've never seen one. If they aren't crazy money, I'm game.

I use Weiler Tiger wheels: ALU60S 7/8 A.H. part#58200 but my shop manager in NY says she prefers Blackhawk.

She states you can get the Blackhawk on Amazon however I can not access a link to public Amazonat this time.

It's a pretty big project so I'm getting a 6" grinder. The 4.5" disks aren't in my future.
Do they make 6"?

I appreciate the offer. I think I'd feel kinda weird about accepting. I think I'd rather get my own disks.  Information about the options would be appreciated.

Make sure you search the terms "for cutting aluminum" as many are aluminum in structure thus containing aluminum in the search, but will actually be for hard metals.

Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/BHA-Resistant-Wheels-Aluminum-Metals/dp/B07KJJVLZ4/ref...

Not sure if they sell smaller packs.
