The guy you ran into, how did he fare in the accident ?

As I understand his explanation he felt the rear of his Harley go sideways.
And I'd bet it did as my front wheel broke the triple tree stop bread and my front wheel turned 90 deg. to the direction of travel right before my bike went flipping through the air end over end.   At that point I lost track of everything and woke up 30 minutes later.   But I do remember the events leading up to the flipping through the air part.
I followed him around a slowing car that was obviously was turning Right at the upcoming intersection.  It appeared we were going strait , but just as I was checking my mirror and getting back in my lane Harley guy was braking to do the right hand turn.   Why pass somebody then brake 98% hard just to get the turn before the other guy all with-in 5 seconds or less ?  Huh  I may never figure it out but to declare it to be an OldFeller Stunt. Undecided
Harley guy had a truck turn Left in front of him about 3 years ago and he broad-sided the truck .   I bring this up because this same feller is who I was behind.   Also there was a truck coming from the other direction and turning left onto the same road as the two bikes and one car was turning onto Truck had the turn signal on.  So , if Mr. happy braking guy could have been re-living a past event ?  I can't say for sure but it still don't make any sense the way events unfolded and I may never know for sure ? Undecided
I'm going for another "Check-up" CT Scan #4 this evening, for 5 week anniversary.

Thanks Springman.

I've thinking :  Our God must not be done using me yet , because The Whale had me in it's mouth and instead of becoming Whale Poop I got spit out on the beach.  Wink
I have just a touch of road rash in two spots left , but have a Real Summer Ridding Jacket in hand already and full fingered armored gloves ( thanks Dave).  Also have replaced the Skid-Lid helmet with a 3/4 Helmet in my favorite color(Chrome) with a face shield.
That "Skid-Lid and T-shirt" stuff didn't work very good at 40 mph.   Embarrassed

Hay Springman You might understand this thing I experienced after brain surgery for leaking blood inside the skull.
There was a couple day that I was living in a Black and White World.  (NO Color ... as in Zero Color , everything Black and White , with slight shades of gray.  ( think 1950's Movie weekend) Seems funny to think about ... but at the time it was freaking me out in a big way.   The fourth day I woke-up seeing in color again.  But I thought I was dead for most of three days and waiting for my body to shut down.

My friend, I do not understand what happened to you. I'm just so glad you are OK. I cannot imagine being in the condition that you mention, it had to be difficult and eerie I guess. I am glad that you are upgrading your riding gear. 3/4 helmet is better than the skid lid. I still prefer the full face helmet though. I know that if I had not been wearing the full face helmet when I went down after the Tail of the Dragon, things would not have been good for me.

I've been thinking about all of you guys. Last week was a bit rough on me as regards being a Christian. The Ukrainian girl being killed and then Charlie Kirk being killed just so randomly. It made me think of the time we were all at Lancer's and the situation in France where some guy ran over a bunch of people. I was immediately filled with hate but Paula got us all to pray. I felt better after we prayed. I still find it incredible (but wonderful) that that was Paula's reaction. Just this thought and thinking of you guys helped me deal with last week. Yep, Your work here is not yet finished MM. Or Lancer, or Paula. May God continue to bless you all.
