I'm sure it's been discussed before but...

What's an easy and cheap saddlebag solution? I am open to any recommendations. I do not need a lot a space. I plan to get a large sissy bar bag for main luggage for trips, so the saddlebags will be purely secondary storage for things like quart of oil, few tools, small souvenirs, etc.

I've seen quite a few throw over options but don't have much experience with them. Not sure which ones fit and which ones don't. Recommendations/pics very much appreciated.

Yeah I figured as much. I think something similar may be the route I take.... Find some small throw overs and modify to fit.  

Didn't some of these bikes come stock with saddlebags?
