https://www.denver7.com/news/crime/two-women-arrested-in-mesa-county-ballot-f... Takeaway:
The plan included obtaining ballots, forging voter signatures, and then submitting those fraudulent ballots to the Mesa County Elections Department.Maxedon admitted to investigators that she “falsely completed voting ballots which did not belong to her,” saying the ballots were provided by Stuart, a friend from the post office who she has known for about three years, and who she last spoke with on Nov. 3. This is part of what I was talking about in another thread in regard to voting integrity in CO mail-in elections. If a human wants to commit fraud, they have to do it better than these two did. This is a human opinion for anyone incapable of understanding what an opinion is. The previous sentence indicates a human opinion.
It's not as simple as turning in ballots that do not belong to you. That is remarkably easy to discover using modern technology. This is a human opinion for anyone incapable of understanding what an opinion is.
This post is an opinion. The previous sentence indicates a human opinion.
I have run three company golf outings which, of course, included prizes for the winners. One was a fundraiser for warehouse worker who was near death from cancer. All the money raised would go to his pending widow and two children. At all three outings, including the one for the sick man, somebody cheated to win. In one case, no one knew, but me. They were very clever.
In a previous life, I was a credit manager for another company and discovered a woman had been stealing about $20,000 a year for 15 years. She was a valuable employee and everybody was shocked when caught. She made one mistake and that’s how we found out. Otherwise it would’ve kept going unti., she retired. Where my wife works, at a religious institution, the person she took over for, she discovered had been stealing a couple thousand dollars a year for years.
People cheat and steal when money is involved and in these cases, would have continued unnoticed, maybe until they quit. Luckily, we caught them.
Point is, how many don’t slip up and never get caught? When money and even more, so when power is involved, lowlife thieves aren’t the ones doing the stealing. It’s intelligent, devious, clever men and women who thirst for power. These two people running a little funny game to see if they could get by with showing flaws in Co voting procedures weren’t particularly clever.
We have no idea how prevalent and voter fraud is. We think we know, but we don’t know for a certainty. The fact that Nevada and California are still counting ballots today is ridiculous and worrisome. I fully understand the constitution puts voting responsibility in the hands of the states and I’m not suggesting we change that but something different has to happen.
One of the things I keep hearing about is how is how Harris got so many fewer votes than Biden 4 years ago. I think the difference is obviously the pandemic-era voting procedures allowed people who otherwise would’ve never voted, to just fill out a form and drop it in the mail or dropbox. I think that’s the difference. And those procedures opened up massive opportunities for fraud. We likely will never know how much.
