1) The national debt increased by 8 trillion under Trump. The most by any president. He now promises to eliminate the debt. Enjoy that kool-aid.
His first presidency was entirely defined by cove it from a financial point of you, while I certainly would’ve liked to seen him handle things better I’m not going to throw a blanket over the entire thing without considering the circumstances on the ground regarding Covid. So that doesn’t concern me too much.
2) Trump tariffs on China started a global trade war and those higher tariffs got passed along to consumers in the form of higher prices and inflation. But he’s going to stop inflation if elected. Enjoy that kool-aid. The taxes the Harris administration is proposing would dwarf whatever effect tariffs have. On one hand, you can’t say see you fools, tariffs are immediately passed on to the consumer, and on the other hand, pretender by taxing the rich, and forcing them to pay their fair share is neutral. Of course, it’s not
3) If he can end the Ukraine/Russia war on Day 1, enjoy that kool-aid too. Why doesn’t he pick up the phone and do it now? much like Mexico will pay for the wall, no I don’t believe he can end the war day one. I believe he will stop sending billions of dollars to a lost cause. I would not have been so heavily involved in Ukraine. The argument that if they marched through Ukraine , then next is against a NATO country. Find. Let them fight it out in Ukraine, let Europe send money. Then afterwards, if they attack a NATO country, they will be weaker and we can respond then. But I don’t see the value of spending billions now other than it’s a gift to a military suppliers.
4) Drill baby drill. I’m fine with this. I live in Texas. But nobody beats OPEC at the price/production war game. Easing tension in Israel and the Middle East would be a good thing, but there’s nothing to suggest it would impact OPEC and fossil fuel pricing and production in a meaningful way.
I absolutely positively 100% disagree with that. Of course it will. You’re letting your hatred for Trump line your logic.
I don’t like Harris, but Trump’s plan is hollow words and pandering. And I’m still waiting for Mexico to pay for the Wall.
