They did a good job the first time. Took a few seconds to kill that guy on the roof.

I've never heard of a POTUS deciding SS positions with any advisors. This is a really bad idea and I would be surprise if they actually spent any time with the POTUS going over performance records to "decide" who goes where. SS management could be directed to put so called "worst" ones with Trump, but I doubt anyone verifies.

I think Trump should have counter-snipers, but historically a past POTUS would not even have one.

In my opinion, and to be clear just in case people don't know what opinions are, this is one. My opinion is it was probably decided by a DoJ employee, and then they got approval by Biden if that was a requirement. Or maybe for assurance, who knows.

What I do not think happens is the POTUS sits down and goes over performance evals of SS agents then picks who goes to Trump.
