Any time he's a loser,... it's rigged
..and that's a lot
If you think, award shows are always on the up and up, that’s pretty foolish thinking. I’m not saying everything is a rigged but I’m sure there were times when “mistakes” were made and awards went to others for various reasons.
And are the courts and DOJ rigged? Same thing, at times they certainly are.
Here’s the funny thing, if we talked long enough, you would end up saying certain things were rigged. Somebody got off because the system was rigged. Some rich guy paid off somebody and got out of punishment, etc.
Then you turn right around and say Trump is wrong when he says something is rigged.
There’s actually a name for that, I believe it’s called the Gel-Mann Amnesia Effect. Imagine you have some inside information and you see a news report that you know is 100% incorrect. You’re incredulous as you watch or read the journalist report. “facts” that you know are not not true.
The next day, you see the same news program report on an story and you shake your head and say yeah, that’s right. It’s like you’ve completely forgotten the day before the same news organization completely misrepresented the facts. But a day later, you’re accepting what they say as fact.
I actually have a real life personal experience with this. In another life I was a credit manager for a leasing company. We had a union shop and there was talk of a strike. There was a big meeting and for whatever reason the district manager invited me in along with other people from management. I listen to both sides of the discussion. The next day there was a story in the newspaper, because people from the union called the reporters. The story printed in the paper was completely wrong. I was there. That’s not what was discussed and not what was agreed to. But a casual reader of that newspaper story would have completely wrong understanding of the truth.
