Anyway, it was buried, then a lake developed and the burial site was under water for, apparently, quite a while. It's amazingly well preserved.
I wish they had included a diagram of some of the joinery they speak so highly of. I'm not the guy to do that kinda work, but I can appreciate it. I sometimes watch YouTube videos of Japanese magicians building intricately joined things that just stay together without jamming screws in it.
