(Another) Electrical Questions
07/13/24 at 17:13:37

Keepin' on truckin' with the electrical issues....

1. Anyone know what https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxNjAw/z/cbIAAOSwwEhmkxcH/$_57.JPG?set_id=88... is and what I can do fix it. There are two clips that slide into two flat posts; unfortunately, I lost a clip as you can see and the wire is too short to trim any further.

2. Should I just get a new one? (I was thinking about getting a new wired started assembly anyway but they are $$$).

3. See that space above the wires? Does something feed out of that? Do I have a hiccup in there somewhere?

4. Do these electrical issues ever go away  Tongue

Those would be the wires to your front brake switch.  You have them routed incorrectly.  They should pass through the empty notch.  If you route them correctly, you might have sufficient wire length to replace the connector and get it hooked up.

Like this.

Thanks DBM. Since my wire ripped out of my ~thing that slides onto the post~ thing, is this something I can wrap around the post (there's a little hole in there) and electrical tape it?
