Paul, some break in stock configuration. The washers didn't coil bind the springs. The effort to use the clutch wasn't noticeably different. I don't think it was the washers,but I sure as Hayull didn't leave them in.

Did you get disks or just the basket?

I got a new set of Vesrah fiber discs from you (no steels).  I got the complete clutch off a parts bike.
