That pressure disk is remarkable.  Something ain't right in that clutch.  Either it was assembled incorrectly, or you have a serious problem with operator error.  Hopefully you corrected the problem this time around.  Hard to believe you burned through two pressure disks in less than a year.

Thanks for the pics.  Very informative.  Also, I forgot to mention, glad your lady didn't get hurt in the crash.

I’m good at rounding off bolts!  You’ve succeeded at rounding off your shaft!

I know you mentioned lots of stop and go city driving, but dang.  You sure you’re installing the special fat fiber disc in the #1 spot?

Guess who's clutch is slipping again!

I'm going to open the bike back up in the coming weeks, utilize the tests DBM wanted me to run previously while diagnosing. This will be a slow burn as I accumulate funds/parts.

Something just ain't right...

THANK YOU! I will probably take you up on this offer once I get it open. You have no idea what a huge help this would be -- 130 for new pressure plates just to burn them out on my miserable salary is a nightmare. I'll keep you posted thanks Dave seriously.

I looked and I don't have any extra pressure plates.  I had one damaged when my clutch release cam broke and I had to use my spare.

I do have a spare clutch hub you can have for shipping cost.

I'll absolutely take you up on the hub.

Here's something interesting -- I came across a pamphlet from Barnett stating that the stamped steel plates, due to their construction, have a flat side and a round side, and, apparently they want these installed In uniform manner. Meaning that either all flat facing one direction or all round. I don't think I could imagine this being the cause of the pressure plate wear but I'm wondering if having them installed non-uniform could cause inconsistency in the release, causing the pressure plate to be taking on undue friction.

God Im so sick of thinking about this clutch.

If Barrnett went to the throuble of including a pamphlet on the subject, it might be kinda important.  I have no idea..
