HELP snapped bolt
11/10/23 at 09:06:06

New rider here. I'm the new owner of a 1997 Suzuki ls650 savage motorcycle. How bad is this? Should i follow the usual process for removing a snapped bolt or is there going to be a bigger process to fixing this? .

that's a 30mm bolt that requires a sealing washer.
you might be able to grap what's left of it if you take the cover off.

peruse the threads in the tech section under engine, ask questions before acting.

Please give us some more information........we don't know who you are and/or where you live - or how that bolt got snapped.

What condition is the bike in - why were you wrenching on that bolt when it snapped?  Where you making other repairs?  Have you replaced the head plug?  Have you owned/ridden this bike long?
