This allows me to display one or more images in a single post. Feel free to attach your pictures below if you want to use them elsewhere on this site. Scaling your images to keep the overall width below 1000 pixels makes for better viewing.

There are a couple of reasons I might want to do it this way:

First, it allows me to insert multiple pictures into a single post using the IMG tags since these pictures are now hosted by this site. (As I have done below.)

Second, it could make it easier to find these pictures if I want to use them in multiple posts without uploading them multiple times (which would be a waste of site resources).

So I think there is a valid use case for this approach. Maybe not all of the time, IDK, I guess we'll see.
