I think the point to be made regarding this is, whomever the Democratic nominee is, could have dinner with virtually anyone, even to the farthest left fringes, with zero repercussions. They already treat that little girl Greta like she’s legitimate.

However, you do have a point about Trump. Trump does not have a good supporting cast around him. Someone should have vetted all of these people before they came to his house for dinner. That’s ridiculous. The reason he doesn’t is because he either hires only yes people or he refuses to have anyone review visitors attending events like this with him. My guess is he thinks he can do it himself, which he clearly cannot.
Democrats have a fine line to walk. They need to keep Trump in the news, but not destroy him.
Republicans on the other hand need him to go away sooner rather than later.
At least that’s my opinion.
