I’ve heard from multiple sources Tesla screens on cars in California are displaying a message that owners should not charge their car during peak hours. Same with some cell phones.

Since cars can be shut down now that have wifi connection capabilities, it doesn’t seem beyond the pale the California could shut off the charging capability of Teslas electric cars for those who try to charge during peak hours.
