One man, one vote.
Either way it favoured, I would be in favour of that.
How about a family vote on where to go to dinner.
Kids,.. you get one vote each,... mommy gets two...
...and I get 20...
You win, when I tell you you win.
Is that democracy?
Okay, 5 lions and 3 zebras are taking a vote on what’s for dinner. You’re a zebra. Still want one person, one vote?
No, of course not. What if all the white people voted slavery back in? You would be good with that as one person, one vote.
The truth is, one person one vote does not work on large scale which is why we have a republic. The elect Oriel College artificially gives more importance to smaller states for a reason. It’s worked very well. Leave it alone. It’s like the filibuster, you’re only against it when you’re on the wrong side. It’s like adding justices to the Supreme Court, you’re only for it when you’re on the other side.
