Nixon's 18 minutes
07/23/22 at 16:05:32

Trump was constantly tearing up papers, clogging toilets by flushing papers,... took 15 boxes of papers to Mar a Lago.
On J6, there are no WH phone records,... the WH photographer was not allowed in the room.... the Secret Service deleted all phone records for that day.

... I'm sure it's nothing.
Nothing to see here.
Perfectly innocent.
Just coincidence   Undecided

There is a perfectly good explanation for the phone records.......

Putin has them all!!!

Not really, CNN already said the records were all there.  Just a gap existed.....

Is the real world the same people that told you about Trump and Russia gate? Let me guess, the real world is Robert Mueller?
I feel kind of bad about it now but it’s people like you that allowed me to make money selling life insurance when I was a kid. Facts don’t matter, just stay in the other person’s bubble and you can sell them anything you want.

Putin would own Ukraine now if Trump were still in power.
He'd be moving in on other European allies.
He was Putin's puppet.

You BELIEVE that because why? How many presidents in the last fifty years DID NOT get us in a war?
You think Trump would have helped Putin? Why?

Because CNN, MSNBC told him to. Our friend Sew does not have an original thought from a political point of view that is. He is hands-down the most partisan person on this board. It’s not even close. You have been critical of Republicans and I certainly have. The only one closest Mnspring , but I have a hard time following all his post with the margin thing going on. Eegore floats in the middle at all times. The drive-by Australian shooter doesn’t count.  But our friend Sew steadfastly defends leftist in power no matter who they are, no matter what they’ve done or what they haven’t done.

Sew, tell us one negative thing about Puddinhead. Just one. (And tapioca instead of chocolate doesn’t count…)

Isn’t protecting minority rights a key feature of our democratic republic?

The electoral college, and I think I invented this phrase so I’ll take credit got it, ‘gives the land a voice’. Without it Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, North and South Dakota would be trampled.

Regarding the filibuster, if there were a majority Republican house and senate, would you be just as in favor? In 2022, everything could be reversed and Democrats are in the minority. With no filibuster, you have nothing. You relied on the courts all those time to get your policy through but thanks to Donald Trump, you don’t have the Supreme Court in your back pocket anymore.

Would you be in favor of adding four seats to the Supreme Court if that was delayed until 2024 with Republican president, house an Senate?

The primary tenet of a democratic society is equal representation.
One man, one vote.
Either way it favoured, I would be in favour of that.

How about a family vote on where to go to dinner.
Kids,.. you get one vote each,... mommy gets two...
...and I get 20...
You win, when I tell you you win.
Is that democracy?
