Hello everyone!
I have the 2014 S40, that I rode for a year. Since then it was parked in the garage in New Jersey weather. Unfortunately I ignored it and never had any maintenance done to it - left over fuel, old oil, etc.
My question is - should I fix it or sell it in as-is condition?
I started planning basic maintenance but I am afraid I may be opening a can of worms that becomes much bigger project than I can handle and also considering the cost.
So far I am considering below list to get it to a point where I can start the engine:
- new battery fully charged
- oil change
- brake fluid change
- drain fuel tank and add fresh fuel
Additional information that may be useful:
- My experience: I am pretty handy but no mechanical experience.
- I did enjoy riding it (for at least 1 year). At some point I do plan to upgrade.
- Miles on the bike: ~750.
- Body condition: Like new. Never dropped and no scratches
Thank you!
