That is about right.  I'm certain if an honest assessment was completed the net-zero energy consumption would be worse than using fossils fuels.  It is not about the environment, it is about control.  

A couple weeks ago I talked to the local Chrysler dealership owner and he said after 2030 GM is not producing any traditional combustion vehicles.  Ford and Chrysler are phasing them in......
