So you're just Not Willing to accept that he has been telling everyone for years that if they continue to approach Russia's border that one day he would be forced to take action? Did he Not mass forces on the Ukrainian border quite a while before actually invading? If NATO and the rest of the world didn't want him to take action, why did they not talk with him? Why did they not Stop doing what he said would end in war if they kept pushing?

Ukraine has wanted to join Nato  for years Nato has resisted for several reasons. Putin has delusions of the old Russian empire with him as the new Czar Putin believes that Ukraine still belongs to his fantasy empire. There was another guy just like him 80 years ago
He should remember that the Russian east belonged to China and hope that Xi doesnt come calling.

He's the aggressor, it's his troops that are invading another country.  Ukraine did not attack Russia.
It's Ukraine civilians that are dying.
