It has been about two years since I've been here, I hope everyone is well. Four years ago I lent my buddy my s40 because he was having car troubles and was an experience rider. He got married and moved, and it took several years to get the bike back. It was in pretty bad shape as well. The gas tank was full of rust, turn signals broken, and oxidation everywhere. It took six months to get everything in working order and it is running well. I thought I would stick my head in the TT. Plenty of things to banter back and forth, that is for sure.......

The higher bars and the 2 piece seat is So much more comfortable, for me. I'm 5'6". That is a Before picture, right? You gonna show us the Now?

That is the after. Embarrassed

I soaked the tank in apple cider vinegar three times, replaced the petcock & fuel line, added a fuel filter, cleaned the carb, replaced the tires and tubes, new battery, wrapped the header, installed grip puppies, cleaned air filter and put on filter sock, new gas cap, and scrubbed all kinds of stuff with wd40 and steel wool to get the oxidation off.
