Annual trip to Barnes and Noble

My wife goes coat shopping every pre-spring to try on coats for size and see if there are any deals to be had at Kohles and other warehouse stores.   I go to Barnes and Noble during this shopping spree.

Here is this years magazine rack report.

Two motorcycle magazines

Four gun magazines

One Intel magazine, one Ubuntu magazine, 10 Apple magazines and one Computer Shopper (thin like a normal magazine)

Tons & tons of women's crafts and homemaker stuff.

Sad, really.

Went a year and a half ago, looking for Steinbeck, for the grandson. Wasn't paying almost thirty dollars for a hardbound of Mice and Men.

Why would they invest into paper print?

Seems like the majority of MC/Gun info is online now.

I like to go to the book store .    The wife looks all over the store , and I head strait for the Road Rider and/or Gun magazines .   I've had the thought to get one of the Roughrider Revolver 16" rifles with the dual cylinders and adjustable sight ever since seeing one of them in some gun magazine
Or better  yet get the 16" pistol version adjustable sights  and add the rifle grip/stock for $100.    Its like 4 pounds and 22mag makes a nice ranch rifle to ride the tractor with.

I buy one magazine a month, and get 2 magazines, as they are published on alternate months. Motorcycle Classics and Cafe' Racer.
The British bike mags are really expensive yet highly informative/entertaining.
Cheers! Cool
