At one time the VAST majority thought the Earth was flat.
And anybody that presented counter information was ‘nut’s’.

At one time the VAST majority thought the Sun revolved around the Earth.
And anybody that presented counter information was ‘nut’s’.

At one time the VAST majority thought cutting off a infected limb was the only way to save a life.
And anybody that presented counter information was ‘nut’s’.

ETC, Etc, etc, ...

So why is it that today,
‘someone’ presenting, ‘information’, about a thing.
that ‘thing’, is absolutely correct.
And anybody that presents counter information,
IS NUT’S.

I think a lot of it has to do with people over-reacting and being hypersensitive to other opinions based on being hard-set on one extreme side or another.

For instance your example provides only options for those that think the world was round, or was flat. The people in-between that said either could be true were the one's that proved over-time that the world was indeed round.

And even with that a tremendous amount of people still think the world is flat. Flat Earthers think round Earthers are nuts. And visa versa.

The difference here is humans (humans meaning all know humans) have had enough time to test and interact with the Earth to have a preponderance of evidence to show it is round. Humans did not prove the roundness of Earth in a few months or a few years even, and still today some will not believe it.

Today is much different in the way information is spread and accepted. It is much easier to distribute information people "like" than it ever has been. For instance my cousins got a handful of veterinary records and in about 10 minutes put a CDC label over the veterinary office logos and shared them online as proof Ivermectin works. Hundreds of thousands of people shared those documents to show how the CDC was covering up Ivermectin effectiveness.

That's something a high school kid could not have achieved just 15 years ago.

When The Conversation is things like claiming one cured over 300 patients but not one patient can be found - that presents an issue also.

It wasn't right for Fauci, or others to play the politics and try to stifle the exposure to The GBD. But it also isn't right for The GBD to manipulate statistics they claim are factual when they are actually theory.

Be honest and say they are theory. Be open and talk about that information.

Not by the people that were, 'in-between'.

I disagree. Who "proved" the Earth was round? Galileo, Magellan?

Multiple people proposed the round Earth prior to anyone circumnavigating it. The people that Said the Earth was round historically weren't even sailors. Who "proved it? Phoenician sailors, Parmenides, Empedocles, Eratosthenes whos charts Columbus used?

Was it NASA?

And some people still think its flat.

Who do you think "proved" the Earth was round?

Don't know WHO proved 2+2=4, but we know whoever did was a Raayciss white person..
Facts that would disagree don't matter, because maffs is Raayciss, but not knowing who did the proof doesn't mean it has not been proven, nor does proving it translate to
