Any tool box covers for sale??

My new to me 96 model came without it. I thought about relocating the battery but decided against it. Just cosmetic. I have the solo seat mounted, a cone filter and a low thru muffler. Next is the rear fender swapped and the side mounted license plate, tail light and new turn signals. Ready for spring to get here!! Hadn't been in the saddle for 4 or 5 years.

If I'm not mistaken the locking cover is keyed the same as the ignition. the only ones I've seen for sale had the lock cylinder removed. If the 2013 model cover fits the 96 I'd sell mine. It's a mint condition take off as I'm making different side panels.

Send a DM if interested. I've got some other chrome trim pieces as well.

Yes the tool box cover is keyed the same as the ignition and helmet lock.

You can however take the tool box cover lock apart and likely be able to move the parts around to get it to work with your key........provided the key has the same profile as the lock. Suzuki used a couple of different blank shapes.

You don't need all the tumblers - but if you can make 1 or 2 work you will be fine.
