I'd like to move my speedo to the handlebar from the tank. Know any cable vendors?
Thanks!
Cheers!

I'm fairly certain that Suzuki uses the same case & speedo connection across it's platform in the 80's & 90's. So I'm thinking a cable from a GS will fit because they have the indicators mounted at the t-clamp/bars. . You'll just have to figure out the correct length. I'd start with maybe a GS550/650. If you look at the parts list for those bikes, you just might find that they are the same part numbers.

mid eighties model Suzuki GT750 tach cable is a direct swap for our speedo cable, just a couple to three inches longer which is perfect for speedo relocate.

Check with Fast650.  He runs an Intruder speedo and it looks factory fresh.  He can tell you the exact part number for all the stuff you need to install the speedo up on your top tree.  I’m sure he will be glad to post some pics too.   It looks nice.

The Intruder speedometer is easy to adapt. There is a hole in the Intruder mount, just tap it for M6 and use a short screw to clamp it to the crown. The indicator light cluster is different so you will have to rewire that to match the Savage. Easiest way is to simply add wire to the Savage indicator harness to make it long enough to reach the Intruder cluster. Intruders have a single turn indicator, neutral, high beam, and an oil pressure light. The colored lenses have a locator tab so they only fit one way, Trim the tabs off and you can move the lenses to suit your tastes. I used the neutral and high beam lenses, and made two amber lenses for the turn indicators.

As Versy stated, the tach cable from a 70's GT750 fits perfectly.

If you have the buckhorn bars you will have to change over to the drag bars to clear the light cluster. Intruders use the same risers so if you have drag bars you are set.

And if you want to keep the factory appearance for the cable you can unwind the chrome spring wrap from the original cable and then wind it back onto the GT750 cable.
