I don't watch the news

So I don't have a way to see the crowds greeting the Americans home from Afghanistan.
What kind of stuff is going on in that arena?
Seems like friends, family, Congress critters, would be meeting people,, maybe even a curious reporter, wanting to ask about things in Afghanistan..

Maybe.  You have 13 reads at the time I am posting this, but at least 8 of them are me.

By crowds do you mean families at the respective airports?  Yes that is happening.

Considering groups of soldiers have been coming home like this for 19 years and to my knowledge public events just aren't advertised anymore.  This from the perception I get, isn't a large scale return of troops like WW2 etc.  This is a few thousand troops spread all over the country coming back, at least 3000 of which were only there a few weeks.

So yeah at a military base, or a civilian airport families are reunited, but I am not aware of anything past local news covering it at this time.

I do find it odd I’ve not seen a single interview with one. You’d think I would have. Was part of the deal a pledge not to give an interview? Doubt it, but let’s see if Tucker Carlson finds one next week.

I imagine it's being kept quiet for their safety.
99% will welcome them, but it only takes one nut to create a scene.
A local Tucson story said some are being located here, but gave no details.

You all know perfectly well why there aren't ever going to be any national new stories about happy reunions at airports with balloons and signs and confetti and little kids in cute costumes hopping up and down and clapping their hands. The MSM wants this fiasco and everything associated with it to go away as quickly as possible.

I did see one "human interest" story about one of the rescued Afghans earlier today though. Says he doesn't care for his new accommodations. Bitchin' about the food too.

We already got Mogadishu, Minnesota filled with folks from another third world sh*thole turning that place into a replica of their homeland, except with better plumbing.

What's next? Kandahar, Kansas maybe ?

This is from first hand experience,
that is 'first hand experience',
nothing more than first hand experience,
  and just first hand experience.

(Which BTW is supported by pages, and Pages, and PAGES, of documentation)

As late as 20 years ago, one could still drive to that area, park, bar hop/party/etc.

10 years ago, one could drive there only it the sun was out.

Today, One does NOT go their even at 12 noon.

Minnesota, Second Highest population of Somalians in the world.
Highest population of Somalians, is the country of Somalia.

Just the absolute TIP of the iceberg.
Their is no more, 'becoming a American'.
It's all, gimme, Gimme, GIMME.

        (March 2019)
" ... The Minnesota state auditor released on Mar. 13 a report on the CCAP fraud allegations that began after a report from Fox 9 revealed as
much as $100 million in taxpayer money
had fraudulently been shipped to Somalia,
after being given to Minnesota Daycare facilities.

OLA also makes it clear that there is still a possibility  showing that the taxpayer money given to the childcare centers “has been sent by individuals in Minnesota to Somalia or other foreign countries, and terrorists have obtained and used the money.”

The fraud concerns over Minnesota daycare providers have existed for years. The report finds concerns in 2017 where 67 percent of the CCAP funds, $146,217,382, went to the top 150 daycare providers where 100 of those 150 exhibited significant signs of fraud.

Among these concerns, the CCAP investigators also identified additional trends in the fraudulent CCAP centers that include identity falsification, false pay stubs, parent coercion and intimidation, and “staged” facilities for purposes of obtaining a CCAP license and in turn, money.

Senate Majority Leader Paul Gazelka (R-Nisswa) commented on the report saying that it confirms suspicions of “widespread and rampant fraud.” He also points out that the fraudulent spending is “affecting not just the taxpayers, but the families that actually need assistance” adding that “Minnesotans are generous people, but they expect the government to be accountable to them.”

Most Afghani civilians are currently in processing at the Dulles Expo-Center.

 This is no secret.

There is no ban on talking to anyone, no agreements to keep their process secret etc.  The center however is not open to the public for what I would think are obvious reasons.  I am aware that some are being interviewed by private US media and public non-profits.

I am sure more stories will come out as people are processed through.

As for US citizens there aren't central locations, these people are coming home spread all over the country, once they get through Customs.

So you, ‘think’ those reasons are, ‘obvious’ ?

Yet  when other people think, ‘reasons’, are ‘obvious’,
and they center around election Fraud,
Covid Fraud,
CDC/WHO/Local health, ‘expert’, Fraud,
Fauchi Fraud,
the POTUS having Alzheimer’s,
The VP being a HO-HO,
and etc/Etc/ETC .
And do not agree, Lock Step,
with the Current,
UL, DFI, FDS, Socialistic View

They are not valid, and MUST be ‘Proven;’ !

OBTY, exactly why do you think,
‘. the center however is not open to the public .’

The public can not enter.  This means it is not open to the public.  There is ample evidence to this fact.

Since the public can not enter it is obvious to me that it is not open to the public.
