Starter relay solenoid
08/09/21 at 07:42:04

Hello, the starter relay solenoid has 4 connector points. Two have nuts to screw down, one for positive post on battery one to connect to the starter. The other 2 connectors are bullet type posts what do they connect to. Thanks

im not 100% sure, but I think one goes to DECOMP CONTROLLER (yellow/black) and the other IGNITOR (black/white).

Black/white stripe is a ground and is always a ground.
The other little wire goes to the decomp controller.

One heavy gage wire goes to the battery and has a little wire that supplies power to ig switch.

And another heavy gage wire goes to the starter, and has a little wire that goes to the TCI to retard the timing.

When stating the little wires are you talkng about the 2 wires that comes off the bullet leads on the starter relay solenoid? Or the little wires that branch off the heavy guage wires that go to the starter and positive on the battery ? Hope iam making sense.

Ok sorry still not working. I have three thicker wires with small wires running off them. One thick wire (black) goes to the starter, the little wire attached it it goes to the decomp controller. The other thick wire (red) goes to the positive battery post it has a little wire attached to it and goes to the TCI. There is a 3rd bigger wire that is attached to the negative battery I think and the other end to the relay post where (black) starter wire is attached. That 3rd wire has a small wire black and white, plugged into a connector, (not sure where they go don't want to tear the harness apart to see). I still have 2 bullet posts left on the relay if I attach one wire to each post what do they connect to? I hope this makes sense,

Do you have a copy of the "savage companion" ?  Look up Starter Relay #1

How about posting a picture?

One thing to be cautious of is connecting wires of different colors together.
