Sure you do.

Ok, go get them.

And don’t do this. Don’t pass a law that law abiding citizens will follow because that won’t impact crime statistics at all.

Do this, go into the inner cites and pick up guns from the people who are actually using guns illegally. Do that. Or do this, go into those rural areas (you know the places where there’s no way to photocopy and ID) and pick up all those long guns. Tell them they’ll be held in an armory for whenever they need them.

Here, I’ll give you some places in Southern Missouri where you can start.

Me to,

It's good that the 2nd exists.

And it also says somewhere in the law, that you can't kill people wen ever you feel like it.
( I have to look up wicht amenment that is, but am shure its there somewhere).

I think on your balcony, you have little danger to fear from a baseball crowd and players. Maby he was anxious and dit not know what to do.
I think he was feeling a bit insecure. You carry so many guns for a reason.

But lets not start anathor gun discusion.

There is an interim solution.
We could add a law that specifically says it is forbidden to shoot at large groups of people from your balcony.

That way you avoid confusion. And one or too limitations, I can live wiht that.

Between us.... you are a realy bad shooter if you need a thousand bullets to defend yourself against a burglar. Smiley

Obviously  you didn't get past the first 10 seconds of the video.....

This isn't about taking away anyone's guns mark.  It's about how so many people consider it "good news" that the person in a balcony hotel room with a view of the all start game, with over 1000 rounds of ammunition and several long guns supposedly "wasn't planning on shooting up the all star game"....

Well gee, that's swell!

WTF do you think they were up to???? A gun cleaning party?????

This country is gun-fukking-crazy and the 2nd has been used as a crutch for far too long. The 2nd Amendment is about MILITIAS,  NOT GUNS.

Thats funny  Grin

I wonder what freud would say about all this.
long guns, lots of ammunition, hotel room, men wanting to shoot,
Police with handcuffs. And a lot of people looking at this and getting excited.

I once heard Xaviera Hollander say, that America is the most sexually frenzied country in the world and that the average coitus lasts 1 minute.

That would explain why everyone likes to carry guns.
If you only enjoy it for such a short time, then you want to be able to shoot several times a day.

“This isn’t about taking any anyone’s gun” is a lie. That’s all it’s about.

No, it’s not.

Let’s look at my city and your city. The vast, vast majority of gun crimes are committed by a very narrow demographic of people yet gun control efforts focus on the group least responsible.

Why is that?

I have not read my local news this morning but I’ll bet one or two people were shot and killed last night. Probably the same or more in Chicago. Our paper doesn’t even report news on where the guns came from because they’re always stolen or otherwise illegally gotten which does not sit well with their agenda.

It looks more like it was an illegal gun deal.  Not a mass shooting plan.  Another reason to not use the initial "news" report as fact.

It's good they weren't planning a mass shooting, but pretty much everything here was illegal.  What gun laws would have prevented this?

Official charges according to court documents:

Platt: possession of a weapon by a previous offender, two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and a warrant from another jurisdiction.

Gabriel Rodriguez: possession of a weapon by a previous offender and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Ricardo Rodriguez: possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

Serikawa: possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and a warrant from another jurisdiction.
