The end of Cash.

I would like to draw attention to the digital euro that is about to be introduced.

The digital euro would be for all Europeans to use, from everywhere to everybody and everywhere they want to send the money in the euro area. It would be risk-free and simply technological progress, says Executive Board member Fabio Panetta at the @EBFeu's online event. Link:

The digital euro is nothing more than the disappearance of cash.

Here's what it means when the cash disappears:

All banks will disappear and only 1 central bank will remain.
All money flows are monitored and stored. Black money is no longer possible.
There will be a system that determines your access to money, for example whether you can get a loan and how much you can borrow. That goes for citizens, small and medium-sized businesses, and for foundations and organisations.
There is absolutely no democratic possibility to influence central bank policy.

This situation is not a theory, but soon a fact.

We will be persuaded with arguments: Interest on our savings and promises about inflation and protection of the European currency, and equality for all.
All these promises cannot possibly be fulfilled in the long term.

It's the same as the promise that you will get your freedom back if you get vaccinated.
Once the cash is gone, the stranglehold is total.

What I'm saying above can be and it can't be.
After all, you never know.
But I want to have said it.

There's a lot of things wrong with this post.

These statements were made back when the big evil credit cards came out.  "End of Cash"  People will no longer have cash but all money will be centrally organized and carried by a card that is unique to the owner.

Credit Cards will eliminate counterfeit money, no illegal (black money) money will exist.  All funds will be accounted for on computers owned by a single bank.

There will be a "Credit" system that determines your access to money, for example whether you can get a loan and how much you can borrow. That goes for citizens, small and medium-sized businesses, and for foundations and organisations - due to a "Credit Score".   Cash will be gone!

Imagine that.  Back in the 70's the end of cash was not a theory but fact.

By Europe establishing a digital currency how does that prevent anyone else from doing the same?  Somehow they will stop criminal organizations, or lets say the US from having their own system that better benefits US interests?  Russia will just play along, be part of a single World Bank because they will all the sudden think what's good for the US is also good for them.

It is a completely different situation in the world and a credit card is not a currency. Don't let your dollar go digital.

I think there are far too many variables to sit there and say one digital currency will end cash.

Really?  No more money for crime?  Good luck with that.

There is a power struggle going on in the world china comes with a digital currency, face book also wants a digital currency and there are many like that.

Everyone is afraid that the other's digital currency will become dominant.
but right now there is also another power struggle going on. And I'll just take my country as an example because I don't know how the details are in your country.

With us, small and medium-sized enterprises have a share of 90% of the gross national income. The large companies are very eager to take over that share and are doing everything in our country to achieve it.

The hellish situation around covid and all the measures that are being taken are hitting small and medium-sized companies hard.
The legislation in our country is being adjusted at a rapid pace to limit the rights of the population. Our government does not shy away from illegal measures, despite the population winning lawsuits against the state.
Our constitution is being trampled underfoot.
In the past 2 years, our country has changed from the freest country in Europe to a dicature.
Our main news channel is turning into a state broadcaster.

At first there was a lot of disbelief, but the Dutch population is slowly starting to realize what is going on here.

Government involvement in the Netherlands has always been minimal. There's nothing left of that now.
Our government seems to be completely in the hands of the all-powerful lobby of large corporations.
large NGOs are in charge and want a digital euro.
If the cash would disappear, we as a people would have nothing more to contribute.

Our democracy would then be destroyed.
