I've seen one Savage with this (rear only) and thought it looked totally badass. It was converted to a bobber so I'm guessing it wasn't the stock size. I don't wanna worry about rub and plan to stay mostly stock. Any thoughts for sources?

 Be aware of this.  Even bobbing the bike the clearances will be tight enough to impact the tire under certain load conditions.

I used to be a dyed in the wool believer in it being important to have the same brand and model of tire front and back - but not so much anymore.  It is rare the front and rear tire wear out at the same time - and sometimes I will put a new tire brand/model on one end sooner than I do the other end......and I have never noticed any ill effects of doing that.  I do mount similar tires though - so if you mounted a sport tire on one end and a cruiser tire on the other end....the results may be incompatible.

If you stick with cruiser tires on both ends - there likely won't be any noticeable quirks.  One end might get better mileage, one might be better in the wet, etc.

All modern tires are tubeless, and can be mounted on rims that allow tubeless tires.

However - they also work on rims that requires tubes and will work on your Savage.

Please don't fit the rear IRC.
