BOLT ON CYLINDER HEAD
06/12/21 at 06:05:57

This head has been cleaned up and made ready to install.  The head was taken apart and pressure washed - then the exhaust port was opened up in the DragBikeMike "D" shape to improve flow.  The head and head cover mating surfaces were refinished to ensure a good seal.  The valves were cleaned up and inspected, and new Viton seals were installed. The compression release shaft has a new seal installed.  The cylinder head cover and rocker inspection caps was painted with ceramic engine paint. The rockers are welded and resurfaced by Webcam.  $270 shipped to the mainland 48 states in a medium size Flat Rate Box.

If you want a camshaft add $100 for a good stock cam - or $300 for one of Lancer's performance cams (no core charge in this sale -  however if you have a good core please send it to Lancer).

Sealing surface, combustion chamber and valves.

The dark spots are small carbon discolored areas - once your start riding it will all get a carbon coating!

Decompression lever area - the cable mount and screws are included but will not be attached, as it sticks up too far to fit in the shipping box.

Head cover cam bearings and rockers.

One rocker has been used about 6,000 miles, the other one has been welded/resurfaced by Webcam.

There is a crack in the bottom fin over the exhaust port.......no harm, no foul and it won't hurt a thing.

That one is gone - but I have another one that is ready to paint and then assemble.

Do you want silver or black?

I am not sure what rockers I have for this head.......I will have to check.

I will take it. Black is preferred. My grandson's 2006 keeps leaking at the cam cover. I have had it off and on too many times. Last time a bolt broke when I tried to loosen it. Another one started stripping as soon as it got past finger tight. Needless to say it pumped oil everywhere. I can bring his old head and swap over rockers etc. I am about 7 hours away from you. Will be a nice road trip in my Miata! Just let me know and you can have his old head.
