Indeed a very heartbreaking situation. Should we expect anything else from a nation which has fallen so far from The Lord. We live in a day when the medical community can (and will) correct what they feel are God's mistakes(see sex change procedures). The great part of the article was the parents standing strong for Jesus. We should be proud and lifted up by this. Let prayers continue for all the unsaved that they may know Jesus and the peace he can give. And let us remember as we have been told "If the world hates you, they hated me first".  I can't imagine any teacher or education group would do this.  I mean an apology to a kid is ok, but making sure it is done on a PLAYGROUND and to make "promises" to a group of kids that age is not exactly a smart thing to do as their minds lack the abstract mental capacities to fully understand that one: Promises are useless and mean nothing in the real world.  Two: Most people use promise to manipulate.

 I'd also wonder about using the term harassment, but in this case, at their age, it might be valuable.  Of course with the overuse of the term just about anything is harassment now.  

 I say anything beyond the school principal offering an apology to her is just being done to make other adults feel better.
