Starter limiter gear.

I replaced the starter gear in my 86 with the Limiter upgrade. is it directional? is it possible to put it in backwards?

No. The torque limiter gear has no direction, it slips when the torque is to great.
if you're pushing the button and the starter is spinning but the engine isn't turning... you put the one way clutch gear on backwards.

The idler can go in backwards... you’ll know because the limiter and idler won’t be lined up.  I made that mistake at first.
