Oil leak Stator/Sprocket side
03/06/21 at 23:41:37

Hi,

anyone have any reference to pulling the stator cover and the cover behind the sprocket/pulley to change the gaskets. The motorcycle has an oil leak, I believe its one of those gaskets or the hole from the electrical harness of the stator.

I fill a quarter pint about 1,000 miles. The oil indicator drops from max to min within a 1,000 miles.

photo is when I first gain ownership of the motorcycle pretty thick coating.

Tech section is for fixes, RSD is for questions.

1st thing to do is clean the area thoroughly and see if you can spot the location of the leak.  spray with foot powder if you can't spot it.

There is a hole behind the pulley that can funnel oil from above to that area.
