As founding principle, we are "a nation of laws, not of men". What does that mean, practically? We rally around and fight for our common values, not an individual. The Big Lie, the personality cult, and anti-democratic authoritarianism are the hallmarks of Fascism, not democracy.

For your consideration then, these flags, flown in our Capitol, on January 6th of this year- these are the banners of a Fascist:

It seems the included images were censored earlier today- Fascism, apparently, is a taboo topic for the Tall Table. All the hateful noise that has populated this venue over the years, and discussing the attack on our democratic franchise is a bridge too far? Really?

I’ve re-posted the illustrations- let’s see how long before this reflection is shattered again.
