Wiring Relocation & Fake oil Cylinder
01/22/21 at 08:25:49
Good Morning to some of us on the east coast, this week I finally had the time to somewhat relocate the computer, Grid Thing(always forget the name), and hide most of my wires. I bought a fake oil cylinder from "TC bros Fabricators" to try and mock up a place as to where to hide the wires.
Cylinder ran me about $80
side note: I happened to see a savage with the same cylinder on their page, therefore decided to give it a try

Here is a mock-up of the cylinder, as you can see there's too much width, which interferes with the belt drive.
however, since the photo I've taken, I cut 3/4 of the total length of the side that's closest to the belt and shortened both of the end caps which the cylinder brings.
Also, there is about
half an inch to an inch
of length/rise left on the bolts which i need to buy another spacer to lift it
ill post another picture with the rest of the rise and the cylinder cut tomorrow

cylinder sadly doesn't line up to the rear fender mount so welding is required, and you need to take off the side cover mounts.

Also wanted to ask, that there used to be a post about relocating the battery to the muffler bracket/Emission Canister bracket.
but I can't find one for the life of me, I think I saw one a couple of months ago but it had no Images for reference
