I think Webstermark is correct.

If one is going to use the term "British mutation" or any term stating a geographic location they then need to accept all accurate geographical descriptions.

So if "China Virus" is bad to say, then "Italy variant", or "US version" are also bad to say.

The difference of course being that "China Virus" did lead to Asian Americans being assaulted. I watched a video of men standing on a Vietnamese girl's hair, holding her down taking turns spitting in her face. Once interviewed they all referenced "China Virus" and said that they were just taking revenge on the people that brought the disease into their country. Things like this happened multiple times across the country.

Will guys go I find British women and do the same now? I doubt it, but it could happen.

Do you actually believe only one Asian American was assaulted due to the "China Virus" anxiety and anger in the entire US?

In any case sure I can provide you multiple examples, give me some time to have them compiled and approved for distribution. I assume you will want the police reports for one's that are available to audit and confirm the dates.

Well if multiple are "true" then it wouldn't be a single action by a criminal, it would be multiple actions. Also "China Virus" isn't the name of any virus, it's just a generic moniker. However that isn't what I said. I said "If one is going to use the term" as in one, or single. To clarify:

If a single human assessing for themselves with the exemption of all other humans, is going to use the term "British mutation" or any term stating a geographic location they then need to accept all accurate geographical descriptions.

All I am saying is I feel it is less likely that men in the US will assault British women than Asian women when comparing the term "China Virus" and "British Mutation". I can outline in detail why, but not if it's going to turn into more comments about this latest election.

Well before you bother, think about this first, do you suppose it’s possible or even likely, that those attacks occurred partially because the attackers were incentivized to find an Asian and attack them because what they heard? I’ve heard no concerns the British people are going to be attacked and as far as I know none have. Now I hear about a new strain from South Africa. So now we have a British mutation and now a South African mutation of the Chinese virus. Are there bubbas out there looking for South Africans to attack?

I don't think we should call it the Chinese virus either.
A much better name would be "The Wuhan institute of virology OOPS we messed up big time and now the whole world is F*cked, we so sorry virus."

Here’s another way to think about. Why did Jesse Smollett feel the need to fake that attack in Chicago? There have been several of these fake racist attacks here in St. Louis and I imagine if you were to compile a list around the country, it would run into the hundreds perhaps thousands. Why is that? So my point is isn’t the same mentality at work that would create the need in Jesse Smollett‘s mind to fake an attack to blame Trump similar to the need that develops in the mind of some wacko to attack an Asian woman and blame the virus on her that she obviously had absolutely nothing to do with?

Yes. I do not think they used the term "China Virus" in their interviews and in their media postings because they all incidentally came up with it on their own at the same time.

I agree. That is what I said, twice. I do not think the same level of risk is involved for multiple reasons. I think more people assaulted Asians due to the "China Virus" communication than there will be British assaulted due to the "British mutation" communication.

I don't think it is the same mentality but considerably similar. The motive is different and accountability is diffused with participatory volume so there is that as well.
