side stand electric circuit

Hi. I want to bypass the side stand electric circuit. can I just disconnect the sidestand switch, sidestand relay and sidestand diode?

It's been a few years...but if my memory is correct you have to complete the circuit. This makes the ECU "think" that the side stand is in the up condition.

Yep.....just unplug the connector that is located on the frame downtube just above the pulley, and run a jumper wire between the terminals.
