It actually is *meant* to be a racist dog whistle which you have seemingly responded to. They throw out a racist bone and the good little doggies go fetch. It is very clear that the way forward for the Republican party is to double down on their disenfranchisement of the Blacks. Always was and for the foreseeable future always will be. It's an existential threat, witness Georgia that has put the fear into the GOP thanks to Stacy Abrahms years of work.

WM, what I don't get, is that in spite of losing the popular vote by a whopping 6 million, Trump was not that far off winning the electoral college again! And the reason for that is, that the EC is fundamentally anti democratic and it's purpose is an anachronism today. Then there is the continual efforts as disenfranchisement of voters who are more inclined to vote democrat. Add to all this, the Republican court sanctioned Gerrymandering built into the very apportionment of votes, which massively favour the GOP, BUT, in spite of all this, when Trump loses what is a patently secure and well run election all you do is whine and completely discount the nearly 80 million of your fellow citizens. You need to take a good long look at yourself and try and work out what it is that motivates your rabid and wilful abrogation of reality.

Maybe it is not about you, but maybe it is about you.

@WM, explain this, if you reckon that the attempted disenfranchisement of Detroit is not racist...

Republicans, initially voted against certifying, saying they didn’t believe information recorded in Detroit poll books were accurate enough, referring to unbalanced precinct counts in which the number of votes tabulated did not match the number of voters signed in at the polls.

However Livonia had a higher number of unbalanced counts, but there was no call to throw out the Livonia votes. Detroit is 80% Black and Livonia is 95% White.

If someone simply does not understand how the E.C. voting system works, it would be wise to NOT comment on it.

If the E.V. system was universal through the States, (and like 2 States), their would not be 5 Districts in a State, who's vote would be simply THROWN AWAY.

Thrown away because 3 districts, have a very high population of Non Citizens.
AND that State has NO, qualifying requirement to vote, other then checking a box on a piece of paper, or ticking a box on a computer.
