I haven’t been hear nearly as long as some.
Yet I  remember a occasional, ‘dig’.

However it was a poster named, ‘tt’,  that set this part of the forum on it’s ear.

For it was the, ‘tt’, that started calling, Everyone names,
because they did not agree, lock step, with the tt.
And the, ‘tt’, was clearly a DFI, UL FDS Socialist.

So, I would say, from the Experience that I have SEEN,
that it was a UL, FDS, DFI, Socialist,
      (and his clones)
that started the degradation.

@v, are you labelling yourself personally a 'right wing nut job poster'? If you are then that is your choice. that' post was not directed at anyone i particular, also it's referring to right wing nut job site, and the people who post links to them. But see my reply to mn below. Do you have a particular problem or reason for not elininating ALL personal abuse?

@mn, why even talk about other people. We did all this years ago. Why do you have a problem with eliminating ALL personal abuse? Please explain what the problem is. We can draw a line under it, it's sooo easy. My guess is that without abuse to fall back on you don't have anything. Is this correct?

 Unless the current system of just repeating the complaint cycle over and over is acceptable, then we just keep doing what we are doing.  Decades from now we can always just blame TT if we don't like that nothing changed.

Here's some logic for you. It's obvious that there's not more than 10 regular users of this political forum, (for obvious reasons), so why not put it to a vote, that do we want a forum rule of no personal attacks at all, none, no grey areas. OR do we want it left as it is.

Then you'll know where you stand, and we all will also know where you stand. Because if there's no rules then I can assure you that I may or I may not answer personal abuse with my own personal abuse. I'm not going to take Eegore's tack which is to simply accept it.

So then my little Serowbot, is which way are you leaning.

You see the problem is that little snowflakes like JoG, can dish it out, but give it back to them in spades and they go apoplectic then you step in with a thread like this one here.

I mean I do appreciate the difficult this put's JoG, Mn, Webster etc in, it must be a terrifying prospect for them to have to engage without abuse, it's sort of like how Republicans are so fearful of Democracy.
