Sounds like there was likely a bit too much highway riding to appeal to me.

But if you want to come up and hit 4 states in a day while riding back roads.....come on up and visit me MM!

You can start out in Tennessee, and we can do Ohio, Kentucky and Indianan within an hour of you arriving - adding West Virginia would require another 3 hours.

70,000 miles in a year?  I think this is likely my best year so far and I have put about 12,000 miles on my bikes.

Whooo , I'm glad ya have to have a BMW to do over 1100 miles in a day !  Wink

I have got the W650 going with new tires and all .
The W is a good day ride machine , but Kawasaki might have did the Retro thing --- too good ?
In an all day ride the Guzzi might be more comfee !   Undecided

I did whittle on the seat under the cover today while it was raining.  Hopefully one of the sunny days this week I'll find out if I did any good ?  Roll Eyes

Corbin make a seat for the W that looks a lot like the on the Guzzi , but I'm not sure I like the machine enough to pay that kind of $$$ for one yet.   Of course what ever fits the W650 also fits the W800 ... and the W400 too .
.............................................................

Didn't we have a thread going last January where some of us posted the millage on our bikes so we could see how many miles in a year we totaled ?     If I can't find it then I put it on the 2021 calendar when I get one .
